Job Responsibilities:
1. Effectively provides outpatient therapy to culturally diverse population - using empirically validated treatment methods.

2. Routinely provides individual, group, and family therapy as scheduled and as indicated in the treatment plan/program plan. Consistently uses individual, group and family therapy practices that are research and evidence based. 

3. Consistently provides treatment to individuals (children, families, and adults) with a substance abuse/ dependency or co-occurring diagnosis in an Outpatient setting.

4. Routinely completes outcome measures timely and accurately.

5. Regularly engages in peer review; reviewing a minimum of two charts per clinician, per month.

6. Promptly attends to any deficiencies in paperwork as identified through audits or quality review.

7. Actively develops treatment plans with client; based on client-generated goals and needs.

8. Appropriately involves family/collaterals in treatment planning and ongoing treatment.

9. Routinely conducts treatment plan reviews with client as needed, or minimally every 90 days.

10. Unfailingly provides excellent customer service as evidenced by being on time for appointments, returning phone calls within 24 hours and receiving 90 percent satisfaction on client satisfaction surveys.

11. Consistently adheres to standards of clinical documentation, client rights, and confidentiality.

12. Reliably completes paperwork in accordance with Agency policy and procedure, contract agencies, DCF, CARF and monitoring groups.

13. Effectively handles the coordination of patient care including making referrals as needed, and providing case management services as needed.

14. Actively provides support in facilitating psychiatric services and Baker Act procedures as appropriate.

15. Successfully produce direct service 70% of the time in order to be a productive member of the outpatient therapy team.

16. Routinely notifies supervisor and obtains approval as indicated in the employee handbook, of scheduled vacation time.

17. Regularly participate in staff development activities.

18. Routinely demonstrates a sound understanding of and commitment to complying with CARF standards for the Outpatient Therapy Program.

19. Continuously maintains compliance with staff development training curriculum as per SalusCare and Department of Children and Families.

20. Effectively attains competence with company electronic medical record and use it effectively within required time frames.

21. Consistently displays cultural competence and sensitivity and ensures services provided incorporate client – specific cultural Values. 

22. Successfully performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications:
Active Florida License is required as an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist.
Requires a MA/MS from an accredited college or university in a human services field with a major in counseling, social work, psychology or related human services field. 
A minimum of (1) one year professional experience in providing services to persons with a substance abuse, mental health or co-occurring diagnosis is required. 
Requires the ability to attain competency with the company electronic medical record and use it effectively within the required time frames. 
Require the ability to perform duties in a variety of locations and settings as you may be required to travel to various office locations at Cape, Evans or Ortiz.
